My Story
This football season, I’m taking on a challenge as tough as it gets — running 23 marathons, one for every Portsmouth FC away game.
From August to May, as Pompey travel the length and breadth of the country, I’ll be matching every away fixture with 26.2 miles on foot. That’s over 600 miles across the season — rain, shine, win or lose — all to raise vital funds for Pompey in the Community, the official charity of Portsmouth Football Club.
Pompey in the Community does incredible work supporting young people, tackling social isolation, improving health and wellbeing, and using the power of football to change lives in our city. They reach thousands every year — and every step I run is to help them do even more.
As every Pompey fan knows, following this club is never short of drama. So I’ll be there — on the road and on the run — flying the flag for our community wherever the fixture list takes us.
