My Story

I'm incredibly excited to be participating in the Charity Match at Fratton Park, not just for the love of the game itself, but also for the opportunity to support Pompey in the Community. As an international student here at the University of Portsmouth, this city has truly become my home away from home. The welcoming spirit of the people and the vibrant atmosphere, especially around football, has made me feel like a part of the Pompey family.

Fundraising for Pompey in the Community is a way for me to give back to the place that has embraced me. I've witnessed firsthand the positive impact that community initiatives can have, and I'm eager to contribute to a cause that strengthens the bonds within Portsmouth. The love for football is infectious here, and Pompey in the Community plays a vital role in harnessing that passion to make a real difference in people's lives. Being able to play at Fratton Park, the home of Portsmouth FC, while supporting such a worthy cause, is a fantastic opportunity to show my appreciation for this city and its community.
